 The name of the agency is not derived from its duty in protecting the president but from its young United states from counterfaiters.　の訳の正解が、　「この機関の名称は大統領の警護の職務からではなく、若き合衆国を贋作作りから守ることに由来している。」　　となっているのですが、私は、from its duty のfromと
from its young のfromをbutで並べて、「大統領の警護の職務からではなく、昔の合衆国の贋作作りに由来する」としか読めないのですが、この文の構造はどのようになっているのでしょうか？教えてください。お願いします。
